Many people explore hypnotherapy after finding that insight alone, while valuable, hasn’t yet shifted how they feel at an emotional or physiological level.
Hypnotherapy allows us to work directly with the deeper, unconscious patterns that shape emotional responses and self-perception, not just with conscious understanding. For thoughtful, reflective people who have already done a lot of inner work, this can feel like a more direct way of creating meaningful change.
I specifically practice RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy). Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, which can focus more on suggestion, RTT® is designed to discover the root cause of an issue. Think of it like a powerful ‘breakthrough’ tool. Combining hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), RTT® doesn’t layer positive mindset over the top of your symptoms, it’s about fundamentally recoding your mind. Through safely guided regression, we uncover those early experiences and hidden triggers that still drive current feelings and behaviours.
By gaining awareness of these, you can finally begin to release and reframe specific negative beliefs you may hold about yourself and install new, empowering ones.
-
RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy) works by helping you access the beliefs and emotional patterns that lie beneath an issue, rather than focusing only on surface symptoms.
You remain aware and in control throughout all sessions. Hypnosis is a calm, focused state that allows access to thoughts, memories and emotional responses that are often less available in ordinary conversation.
The process combines structured exploration with targeted reframing and reinforcement (including your personalised recording), so change is supported both intellectually and at a deeper, embodied level.
-
No. Hypnosis is not a state of unconsciousness or loss of control. In fact, the opposite: it’s about you regaining control.
You remain aware throughout the session, can speak at any time, and can stop whenever you choose. Most people describe it as feeling calm, focused and absorbed — similar to being deeply engaged in a book, film or creative task.
The work is collaborative and respectful. Nothing is ‘done’ to you; we work together throughout.
-
You don’t need to hold any particular belief about hypnosis.
What matters more is your willingness to engage with the process and your openness to reflection and change. Many thoughtful, analytical people are initially sceptical — and often find that the experience itself feels grounded, practical and surprisingly natural.
-
This varies depending on what you’re working on and how longstanding the pattern is.
Some issues can shift within a single session, while deeper or more complex patterns may benefit from ongoing work. We’ll review this together as we go, based on your goals and your experience with the process.

Programmes are tailored to an individual client’s needs. Sessions are priced transparently and reflect the depth and structure of the work involved.
However, for guidance, an RTT® cycle focused on a specific issue would include:
a (free) 15 minute introductory call
a one-hour intake consultation
a two-hour RTT® hypnotherapy session
a personalised recording
a 7 day and 28 day follow-up call
Cost: £295
